About the Casper Warbirds

The Casper Warbirds are proud to call Casper, Wyoming home.

Competing in the Mountain West Division of the NCDC (National Collegiate Development Conference), the Warbirds provide a tuition-free path for talented young hockey players pursuing the next level of their careers. Our roster brings together players from across the United States and around the world, all with the same goal, to develop as hockey players, grow as individuals, and earn opportunities to compete at the collegiate and professional levels.

But the Warbirds are about more than what happens on the ice.

Every season, our players become part of the Casper community. From volunteering with youth hockey and visiting local schools to participating in community events and giving their time to organizations throughout Natrona County, our players are expected to be more than athletes. They are representatives of the Warbirds and members of the community they call home.

Throughout the season, the Warbirds also host games that bring our team and our community together. From honoring first responders and members of the military to raising awareness for cancer, supporting local families, collecting food and toys for those in need, and creating special experiences for local kids, our goal is to use hockey as a way to make an impact far beyond the rink.

Casper is more than the place our players spend a season. It becomes a part of their story.

For our players, their time with the Warbirds is about building friendships, creating memories, developing discipline and confidence, and preparing for whatever comes next. For our community, it is about having a team they can be proud of and a group of young men who give back to the place they call home.

The future of the Warbirds is being built in Casper and we are just getting started.
