AVAILABLE INTERNSHIP
BUSINESS OPERATIONS
Assist with behind the scenes operations of a junior hockey organization. Responsibilities will include helping with budgeting, spreadsheets, data organization, team logistics, scheduling, game day planning, and learning how different departments work together to run a successful sports organization.
GRAPHIC DESIGN
Create visual content used by the organization, including merchandise designs, social media graphics, promotional materials, advertisements, game day graphics, and more. This role provides opportunities to build a professional design portfolio with real sports marketing projects.
SPORTS MANAGEMENT
Gain hands on experience helping execute hockey game days from start to finish. Responsibilities can include assisting with ticketing, concessions, merchandise, promotions, halftime activities, arena setup, fan coordination, and ensuring a smooth game day experience.
COMMUNITY RELATIONS
Help strengthen the relationship between the Casper Warbirds and the local community. Responsibilities include assisting with community events, youth hockey programs, school partnerships, charity initiatives, player appearances, and outreach efforts.
SPONSORSHIP & SALES
Learn how sports organizations build relationships with businesses and sponsors. Responsibilities include researching potential sponsors, organizing sponsor information, assisting with sales materials, helping maintain partnerships, and communication skills.
MERCHANDISE & RETAIL
Assist with managing team merchandise and retail operations. Responsibilities include helping design merchandise ideas, tracking inventory, organizing sales, setting up merchandise booths, and analyzing product trends.
MEDIA RELATIONS
Assist with communication between the team, media outlets, and fans. Responsibilities include writing press releases, preparing game notes, assisting with interviews, coordinating media coverage, and creating team announcements.

Each internship has its own schedule and responsibilities, and some opportunities may overlap.
These are unpaid internships, but you'll receive support and real-world experience to help build your skills, resume, and portfolio. The Warbirds team is also committed to helping interns explore future career opportunities and build connections within the industry.
